This happened a week ago, but I am still laughing about it - I hope it brightens your day somehow!

My Kinsey is a free spirit. We often joke that she is the "joy" in our family because she simply brightens a room. When she is gone, we know it. Her sweet innocence and naivety are often the butt of many jokes - this particular one being a perfect example. One thing I love about our doctor is that she always involves the kids in any appointments we have, asking them questions and not talking over them. She lets them take an important part in their health care.

Doctor: Well, Kinsey, is there anything that has been bothering you lately?

Kinsey: No. But I do have eczema on my tummy and sometimes it's itchy.

Doctor: Oh my, what is that?

Kinsey: (glancing questioningly at the doctor, then me, then back at the doctor) You're the doctor!?!? You should know!
